By allowing My Personal Secretary to handle your administrative tasks, you avoid the costs associated with hiring a full-time employee which include wages, insurance/benefits and taxes. Also, you are not responsible for the cost for software, computers, or work space, and there is no wasted time and money when business is slow and there is little work to be done.

Will you be my employee?

No, we are a business to business service provider and independent contractor, not an employee. More information on the difference between an employee and independent contractor can be found on the IRS web site.

Is the information I provide to you secure?

Absolutely... security is of the highest priority to us. We use several secure onsite and offsite backup systems, password encryption, as well as the latest in malware, spyware, and virus protection.

How do you ensure that my proprietary information doesn’t get to my competitors?

We provide our clients with signed Confidentiality Agreements to ensure our commitment to non-disclosure and privacy.

Are the fees for your services tax deductible?

Yes, for business owners. Services rendered by My Personal Secretary as considered a business expense; however, we ask that you consult your tax consultant for details. You can also consult www.irs.gov for more information.

I’m pretty computer literate so I don’t think I need to utilize your services.

We don’t handle your administrative tasks because you can’t. In today’s world computers are a big par of our lives so most of us are comfortable using them. My Personal Secretary provides services so you don’t have to not because you can’t. We want you to spend your time on other things like running your business or taking care of other things in your life, while we handle sending that letter to the insurance company, or creating that mailing list, or putting together that report.

What is your standard turn-around time?

Typically, our turnaround time is 24-hours. However, depending on the nature of the project and our work load, the turnaround time may take 2-3 days. We give our clients a clear turnaround time upfront, and it is our practice to come under the specified time, every time!

What software programs do you use?

We use the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Works, WordPerfect, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat. We also use all general Office Equipment.
